Stroke

A stroke occurs when blood flow to a part of the brain stops. A stroke is sometimes called a "brain attack."

Causes of Stroke


  • Ischemic stroke
  • Hemorrhagic stroke
Ischemic stroke occurs when a blood vessel that supplies blood to the brain is blocked by a blood clot.


A hemorrhagic stroke occurs when a blood vessel in part of the brain becomes weak and bursts open.


Symptoms

The symptoms of stroke depend on which part of the brain is damaged. There are  some cases, a person didn't know that they already have stroke. They think sometimes that its only a simple headache. This is what you called mild stroke. For the major stroke symptoms are, loss of memory,  weakness of muscle in the face, arm or leg, numbness of one side of the body, difficulty in walking and it depends to the major attact sometimes the whole body is paralyzed.
